Uniform Code
An outward sign of loyalty and pride in the college is shown by the correct wearing of the school uniform. The following clarifies the expectation with regard to uniform.
Jewellery: (Optional)
- 1 small earring in each ear
- 1 simple ring
- Watch
- 1 Bracelet
- Any neck jewellery must not be seen
- No other jewellery is allowed, such as piercings
Physical Education: Kavanagh College monogrammed CCC T-shirt - (available at Bursars office). Regulation CCC navy track pants or shorts - (available at Bursars office)
Sport: Regulation uniform as required by each sporting code
Parka: Plain navy
Scarf (optional): Plain navy with red and white stripes
Gloves (optional): Plain navy (for wearing outside the classroom)
General:
- Hair style should be reasonable, simple and natural in colour. Hair must be tied back off the face. Hair trimmings, navy only.
- Students do not wear make up or nail polish to school. Boys are clean shaven.
- Students in Years 11-13 must wear the school blazer in Terms 2 and 3. Only school badges are to be worn on Blazers
- Under garments should not be visible.
The school uniform is stocked by Arthur Barnett's and Uniform Direct. The girl's kilt can also be supplied by Helean Kiltmakers.
The Kavanagh College Uniform Shop has a supply of second hand uniforms available. The
